I Am The Walrus
The first record album I ever bought, or rather, was bought for me, by my mother was The Beatles, Magical Mystery Tour. I'm pretty sure it was the summer of 1976 ('76, a big year, my first trip to Florida to visit my brother who was in the Navy, stationed at Pensacola and the first time that I had EVER been on a sailboat, a Sunfish, on the Gulf of Mexico.) and it was picked up from the record departement of E. J. Korvette's in Roseville, Michigan (So, let's see, a record that was already 9 years old when it was purchased from a now long-defunct department store chain, talk about memorable, but Korvette's had an AWESOME music department.) I have a soft spot for that record to this day (I have their entire catalog on CD, something I was never able to do as a paper boy) and "I Am The Walrus" is still a favorite (or as my Canadian mum would say, a "favourite" and she would pronounce it "fave-rite").
So, through the magic of the Intertubes, I bring you the Fab Four:
